Let's introduce the challenge of space radiation

A clearer story for customers and investors

Challenge
Advanced space radiation technology that customers, partners and investors found hard to grasp.
What we did
A clearer story and site structure built around what each audience needs to understand, on a site the team keeps up to date.
Result
  • Increase of inquiries
  • Longer visitor engagement
  • Positive feedback on clarity

Client story

AdvaSpace is a Prague-based space-tech company building radiation detectors and space weather intelligence for satellite operators, airlines, and energy providers. It is a recent spinout of ADVACAM, a NASA-certified supplier whose Timepix chips have flown on the ISS and NASA's Artemis II mission. AdvaSpace's job is turning that hardware heritage into operational data other industries can use.

Challenge

AdvaSpace's old site was a leftover: barely maintained and built for a company that no longer matched who they had become. As a spinout entering its own commercial phase, they needed a site carrying two audiences at once. Engineers who already understand particle physics, and satellite operators or insurers hearing about space weather risk for the first time. Most competitors in the space and deep-tech category default to generic dark, technical visuals that look the part but explain nothing. AdvaSpace needed the opposite: a site that made an invisible, highly technical problem feel concrete enough to act on.

Our solution

Design

Instead of opening with a product catalogue, Expirio structured the site around the problem AdvaSpace solves. Visitors meet the danger of cosmic radiation first, then AdvaSpace's answer to it. The visual identity breaks from category convention. Rather than the dark blue and black most space and deep-tech brands default to, Expirio built a distinct palette that reads as modern and technical without borrowing anyone else's playbook.

Technology

The build centers on a custom 3D model of AdvaSpace's detector hardware, tuned in Webflow to hold its lighting and detail across devices, and a browser-based game on the homepage that turns radiation particle types into something visitors interact with instead of just reading about. Booking runs through a direct Cal.com integration, so a qualified lead can get on a call in a couple of clicks. It is also AdvaSpace's first English-only site, built for a genuinely international audience.

The redesign of our website significantly improved how we present AdvaSpace to customers, partners, and investors ... supporting our business development efforts and strengthening the credibility of our brand.
